![]() Mary Ann spends much of her time outside of the office volunteering at multiple organizations but has a special affinity for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri. Her diverse and extensive experience in land surveying spans four-decades and ranges from work with the Jefferson County Assessor’s Office creating maps on mylar to advanced digital computer aided drafting for multiple surveying firms in eastern Missouri. Mary Ann joined SWT Design in 2021 and works directly with our Land Survey Studio. This belief is what drew me into design and what has kept me passionate as my career has progressed.” I believe this ability is immensely powerful and we must seize it to rethink our physical environment and use it to build socially equitable urban places. That may sound like an odd thing to strive for, but we have a unique ability to listen, observe, and decode people’s actions, reactions, and emotions then translate those feelings and interactions into tangible space. “One of the most exciting roles a designer gets to play is that of an interpreter. With a strong passion for urban design, Cory has dedicated a vast majority of his career into understanding the dynamic relationships between the social, cultural, and ecological aspects of urban life and the unique juxtapositions resulting from their coalesce. His diverse portfolio includes streetscapes and downtown master plans, healthcare and education campuses, and a multitude of urban spaces from across the country. ![]() Cory joined SWT Design in the Fall of 2021 and brings over 15 years of experience in Landscape Architecture and Urban Design.
